Emily Doron
Senior Attorney
As a Senior Attorney, Emily Doron represents clients in divorce, child custody and support matters, adoptions, modifications, and protective orders throughout Dallas, Collin, Denton, and Rockwall counties.
Before entering private practice, Emily served as a criminal prosecutor with a focus on domestic violence cases and protective orders. In that role, she gained extensive courtroom experience, handling evidentiary hearings, contested matters, and high-stakes litigation. Her prosecutorial background provides a strong command of evidentiary rules, witness examination, and trial strategy — skills that are especially valuable in contested custody disputes and protective order proceedings.
Emily approaches every case with meticulous preparation and disciplined litigation strategy. Known for her clear communication and organized case presentation, she ensures that clients understand both the legal framework and the practical realities of their situation. Whether negotiating resolution or advocating in court, she is deliberate, prepared, and focused on protecting her clients’ interests.
Emily is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization — a distinction earned by a small percentage of Texas attorneys. She has been nominated to D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 (2024, 2025, 2026) and recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers (2025, 2026).
Family law disputes are often emotionally charged and legally complex, and Emily guides clients through them with strategic focus, steady counsel, and clear direction. Her practice is grounded in strong advocacy, thoughtful counsel, and results-driven representation tailored to each client’s long-term stability and success.
Emily grew up in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from American University in 2012 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice, Emily received her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2016. When she is not working, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.
